Responsibilities

  • Provide professional grooming services to dogs of various breeds and sizes, ensuring safety and comfort at all times
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the grooming space, tools, and equipment in accordance with health standards
  • Manage appointment scheduling and communicate effectively with clients regarding grooming needs and preferences
  • Handle heavy lifting of grooming supplies, pet equipment, and occasionally assist with moving larger or heavier dogs
  • Build strong relationships with clients through friendly, professional customer service
  • Keep the grooming area organized, stocked, and ready for daily operations
  • Follow all safety protocols to ensure the well-being of pets, clients, and staff

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in dog grooming or pet care is preferred but not mandatory; training opportunities may be available for motivated individuals
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
