We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. This role provides vital support in pharmacy operations, ensuring efficient medication dispensing and patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical terminology, medication management, and patient interaction, with experience in hospital or pharmacy settings preferred. Duties

  • Assist licensed pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
  • Manage inventory by stocking shelves, labeling medications, and maintaining proper storage conditions
  • Provide exceptional patient care by answering questions, clarifying medication instructions, and supporting patient needs
  • Process prescriptions, verify information, and ensure compliance with safety protocols
  • Support administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and managing pharmacy supplies
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient service and medication management

Experience

  • Prior experience in hospital or pharmacy settings is highly desirable
  • Experience as a pharmacy technician or in a similar healthcare support role is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration procedures
  • Proven ability to deliver compassionate patient care and communicate effectively with diverse populations
  • Familiarity with pharmacy software system KROLL and inventory management tools is a plus
