We're hiring a Senior Product Manager who will lead the product behind our most innovative internal platform—bringing no-code speed and agility to insurance data management.
The Product team works to strategically design, develop, and manage user-centered digital products that align with our business objectives. Through user feedback and data analysis the team ensures the delivery of innovative and reliable digital solutions that drive the company's success in the digital marketplace.
Reporting to the Team Lead, Product, you will take full ownership of your product domain — from identifying problems worth solving to delivering high-quality solutions at scale. You'll lead discovery, define strategy, and execute delivery with excellence while also acting as a success partner to other PMs to share your experience and learnings.
As an individual contributor and a senior professional, you are expected to coach and mentor professional-level Product Managers and Analysts, and assist the Product Leadership Team in continuously improving craft capabilities.
This is a remote-first role within the GTA. #LI-Remote Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic conversations with your team and senior leaders to contribute to the product vision.
- Create and align on the product strategy for your domain, ensure it connects to the business objectives.
- Define and own your product areas of focus by turning business and customer needs into clear, strategic priorities.
- Lead discovery to define well-scoped problems before moving into solutions.
- Use data and the right questions to prioritize the most valuable opportunities.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to write clear specs and user stories.
- Own the full product lifecycle (SDLC) from design, planning, launch to post-launch activities.
- Own the planning, and execution of your product roadmap, and ensure documentation is always clear, concise and up to date
- Plan, groom, prioritize and track initiatives and tickets to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
- Structured and analytical approach to evaluating trade-offs when presented with competing priorities and complex domain dependencies.
- Partner with engineers to shape viable solutions, manage tradeoffs, and justify effort and resources to solve the right problems.
- Raise risks early, unblock teams, and keep communication clear and proactive.
- Work across business and engineering teams to manage dependencies and ensure alignment.
- Communicate roadmap and priorities clearly to both leadership and delivery teams.
- Act as a success partner to fellow PMs — share learnings, give feedback, and support their growth.
- Help improve SDLC processes and proactively raise product or delivery challenges to product leadership with solution-oriented suggestions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- 6+ years of experience in digital/software Product Management, with full ownership of product areas.
- Prior experience contributing to or shaping product strategy and long-term roadmaps.
- Extensive experience in discovery — consistently defining the right problems, validating with users and data, and applying structured frameworks.
- Hands-on experience working with engineering to shape technical solutions, manage tradeoffs, and handle complex dependencies.
- Experience leading planning, grooming, and user story creation in Scrum/Agile environments, using tools like Jira.
- Ability to analyze product and customer data using tools like Looker or SQL to support decisions.
- Experience working closely with UX/design on mockups, prototypes, and user flows.
- Strong communication skills for managing stakeholders, aligning teams, and setting clear expectations.
- Experience improving internal tools or platforms is a plus.
