We're expanding our service team and looking for a skilled Marine & Automotive Technician to join us at our Pefferlaw location.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced, reliable, and motivated Marine & Automotive Technician to perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of marine vessels, vehicles, and small engines. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain marine engines, inboard/outboard systems, and related components
  • Perform mechanical repairs and maintenance on automotive vehicles and powersports equipment
  • Conduct inspections, identify mechanical issues, and recommend appropriate repairs
  • Install and service accessories, electrical systems, and mechanical components
  • Maintain accurate work orders and documentation
  • Ensure work is completed efficiently and meets safety and quality standards
  • Communicate effectively with the service team and customers when needed
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety requirements

Qualifications:

  • Marine Technician certification or relevant experience
  • Automotive Technician certification or apprentice level
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic skills
  • Experience with small engines, boats, trailers, or recreational vehicles is an asset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license (marine license an asset)
  • Strong attention to detail and workmanship
