Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Marine Technician to join our team. We're offering flexible hours from 15 to 40 per week. The ideal candidate will have a passion for marine mechanics and possess expertise in using hand tools, power tools, and mechanical knowledge to maintain and repair marine vessels.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance on marine engines and systems
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on boats and other watercraft
- Install, inspect, and repair electrical systems on marine vessels
- Perform winterization and de-winterization tasks on boats
- Test and troubleshoot engines to ensure proper functionality
- Keep accurate records of services provided and parts used
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Marine Technician or similar role
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment
- Strong mechanical knowledge of marine engines and systems
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Physical strength and stamina to handle the demands of the job
