ALLIED AVIATION has a requirement for an Accounts Payable Clerk

Located at: Gander, Newfoundland & Labrador, Canada

Purpose

To perform full cycle Accounts Payable function for multiple companies.

This position will cover our Canadian Operations and be responsible for:

· Process vendor and supplier billings based on existing contracts, work orders and other protocols utilizing specialized accounting software

· Process payments for accounts payable to ensure vendor payments are done on time and in an efficient and accurate manner

· Liaison with vendors and suppliers to address billing queries and/or investigate disputes

· Process AP and Expenses related entries into accounting system

· Assisting in the preparation and reviews of cost statements, budgets and variances

· Perform other general ad hoc tasks and reporting to the Corporate Controller and VP for Canada.

Qualifications:

· Accounting Diploma and/or Bachelor's Accounting Degree required

· At least 3-4 years of experience in Accounts Payable role preferably in a service industry business environment (experience in aviation industry would be an asset)

· Creative problem solving and conflict management skills.

· Superior verbal and written communication skills in English.

· Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships.

· Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills with ability to prioritize in a demanding environment.

· Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and solid experience working with Accounting or ERP systems such as Epicor (Preferred).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
