About Us

Shawarma Royale is one of Ontario's fastest-growing Middle Eastern QSR brands. As part of a larger parent group that also operates additional concepts such as dessert and specialty food brands, we are expanding our creative and marketing capabilities to support brand-wide growth.

We're looking for a motivated
Content Creator Co-op Student
to join our marketing department for an approved co-op term.

About the Role

The Content Creator Co-op will help bring Shawarma Royale's brand story to life through digital content. While Shawarma Royale will be your primary focus, there may be opportunities to support content needs for
other brands within our parent company
when required.

Please note:
This placement is
unpaid
and is
only available to students currently enrolled in a recognized post-secondary co-op, internship, or work-integrated learning program
through their college or university. A
school-issued co-op/internship approval letter or agreement
will be required before the placement begins.

You will report
directly to the Marketing Manager
and collaborate closely with our design team.

What You'll Do

  • Create engaging short-form videos (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)
  • Capture on-site content at Shawarma Royale locations
  • Edit videos and photos for posting across platforms
  • Brainstorm and pitch creative ideas for campaigns
  • Lead the content creation workflow—from concept to final delivery
  • Work with the design team to maintain brand consistency
  • Support marketing initiatives, new product launches, and store openings
  • Assist with content creation for other brands under the parent group (as needed)

What We're Looking For

  • A current college/university student eligible for a co-op or work-integrated learning placement
  • Passion for content creation and social media trends
  • Basic photography/videography and editing skills
  • Creative thinker with strong initiative
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting
  • Comfortable taking direction and working closely with the Marketing Manager
  • Willingness to visit store locations across the GTA when needed
