Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team. This role is essential in providing excellent customer service and ensuring that our food service operations run smoothly. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.

Duties

  • Greet customers warmly and take their orders efficiently, ensuring a positive dining experience.
  • Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and safety guidelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the counter area, equipment, and dining space.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through the POS system.
  • Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of shortages.
  • Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
  • Follow all food handling procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.

Experience

  • Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required; we welcome candidates eager to learn.
  • Familiarity with food safety practices and sanitation standards is a plus.
  • Basic math skills are necessary for cash handling and order processing.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
  • Experience with POS systems is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided.
