We are looking for an experienced GM trained technician, apprentices or accessory installers to join our growing team and enjoy the benefits of our family centered work culture.

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • Registered apprentice.
  • Previous General Motors experience preferred
  • Clean/valid/current drivers license
  • Electrical/Drivability experience an asset
  • Transmission diagnosis and repair an asset
  • A priority in Customer Satisfaction
  • Positive attitude, self sufficient while being able to work in a team environment
  • Computer literacy, prefer experience with CDK and MPI Autopoint
  • Ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing
  • Experienced in the use of GM and electrical diagnostic equipment
  • Ability to work and succeed in a flat rate shop environment
  • Out of province and CVIP inspection program license would be an asset

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Road test, inspect, diagnose & estimate repairs as required per customer concerns in accordance with General Motors and dealership guidelines
  • Capable of using diagnostic and specialty equipment to perform required diagnosis and repairs
  • Perform general maintenance and vehicle inspections as required
  • Execute warranty repairs in accordance with General Motors guidelines
  • Communicate with service advisors and parts technicians to provide accurate and timely estimates and complete times of repairs
  • Ability to efficiently diagnose and repair vehicles on their first visit to minimize comebacks and improve customer satisfaction

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
