Journeyman Automotive Technician / MechanicOverview

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Automotive Technician to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing vehicles while delivering high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer service. This role also includes completing AMVIC, OPI, Insurance, and Uber inspections, mentoring apprentices, and maintaining efficient turnaround times.

Schedule & Compensation

  • Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Up to $45.00 per hour, based on experience
  • Full-time, in-person position

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, etc.)
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical vehicle issues
  • Conduct vehicle inspections (AMVIC, OPI, Insurance, Uber)
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance
  • Test drive vehicles to ensure repairs meet quality standards
  • Train and mentor apprentices
  • Maintain fast, accurate turnaround times without sacrificing quality

Qualifications

  • Journeyman Red Seal Certification (required)
  • Own tools
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license
  • Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles
  • Front-end and wheel alignment experience
