About the Role

We are seeking a Commercial Property Management Consultant to advise clients on optimizing the performance, sustainability, and digital transformation of their real estate portfolios.

You'll act as a trusted advisor — combining hands-on operational experience with technology-driven insight to help clients improve NOI, streamline reporting, and enhance tenant experience.

This role is perfect for an experienced commercial property professional who thrives on autonomy, strategic problem-solving, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams across asset management, AI analytics, and capital planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise property owners and asset managers on portfolio performance, operational efficiency, and digital transformation strategies using UnlockLand's AI platform.
  • Support the creation of smart operating budgets, sustainability plans, and capital improvement roadmaps.
  • Analyze financial statements, leasing data, and maintenance records to identify areas for cost optimization and value creation.
  • Collaborate with UnlockLand's data and engineering teams to integrate real-time property data into AI-driven dashboards.
  • Conduct benchmarking and risk analysis across property portfolios (office, retail, industrial, or mixed-use).
  • Facilitate workshops and client presentations to align strategic and operational goals.
  • Provide due diligence insights for acquisitions and redevelopment scenarios.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial property management, asset management, or facilities consulting.
  • Current or former BC Property Management Licence (or equivalent experience in institutional or private portfolios).
  • Deep knowledge of property operations, building systems, and tenant relations.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills — proficiency with Yardi, MRI, or Argus; familiarity with AI/PropTech tools is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities with a client-centric mindset.
  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or Urban Development; MBA or CPM designation considered an asset.
