Parts Technician Roles & Responsibilities

  • Servicing customers via multiple platforms, e.g. email, telephone, counter sales.
  • Assisting with maintaining parts room
  • Assist with shipping when required
  • Updating invoices and internal repair orders
  • Organizing pick-up and delivery of parts locally to customers and from suppliers
  • Delivery of parts to local customers
  • Assist with back counter parts when required
  • Participate in Safety

Ideal candidate will possesses following:

  • Has a minimum of 2 years' experience in Parts Department Operations
  • Consistently demonstrates exceptional customer service
  • Has excellent team ideology, with a strong emphasis on supportive culture
  • Has excellent communication skills, is highly organized and can manage paperwork efficiently
  • Is independent and resourceful; has the ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Is proficient with computers and supporting programs, e.g. Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.
  • Has knowledge of mechanical parts, catalogs, distributors and dealers
  • Has knowledge of inventory control and warehousing practices.
  • Active safety culture participation and involvement
  • Has a clean driving record and a valid Alberta class 5 drivers license
  • High School or GED equivalent
  • The ability to stay organized and multi-task in a fast paced challenging environment
