Job Overview

Window Guard is seeking a detail-oriented Window Film Cutter to join our production team. This role involves accurately cutting security and window film to precise measurements before installation. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, is comfortable using a measuring tape, and has good English communication skills. This position plays a key part in ensuring our clients receive high-quality, accurately prepared film products.

Duties

  • Accurately cut window and security film based on provided measurements and specifications
  • Use a measuring tape and cutting tools to ensure precise, clean cuts
  • Verify measurements and ensure all cuts meet job requirements
  • Maintain cutting equipment and keep workstations organized and safe
  • Inspect cut film pieces for accuracy, quality, and consistency
  • Collaborate with the production and installation teams to meet daily deadlines
  • Follow all safety procedures and report any equipment issues or concerns

Qualifications

  • Experience in cutting, manufacturing, or production is an asset but not required—training will be provided
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent hand–eye coordination
  • Comfortable and accurate using a measuring tape (essential)
  • Ability to read simple job notes, measurements, and instructions (English proficiency required)
  • Basic math skills for measurement conversions and calculations
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
  • Familiarity with cutting tools or film materials is an asset but not mandatory

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.60 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
