Welder / Trailer Mechanic, Chilliwack, BC

Triton Transport is a heavy haul transportation company providing services throughout North America with operations in British Columbia and Alberta. Currently, we are in need of a full-time experienced, welder to join our dynamic team.

If successful, you will be a member of the CLAC union with negotiated annual raises in pay. You will also be eligible for an annual boot and tool allowance, as well as company paid medical/dental/vision benefits, short and long term disability, a pension, and matched RRSP savings plan, along with three weeks of vacation in your first year.

Supervised by the Fleet Manager, your responsibilities will include structural repair and custom fabrication, fleet maintenance, and other mechanical repair work as required.

To be successful in this role, you will have proven abilities in fabrication and repair and the ability to think outside the box. A class 5 driver's license is required, but a class 1 or 3 driver's license and Commercial Vehicle Inspector License are preferred. Preference will be given to those with truck and trailer repair experience.
