4J Lift Truck Inc. is a small business based in Mississauga with over 20 years of industry experience. We are currently seeking a skilled Material Handling Mechanic to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and hands-on experience working with forklifts, scissor lifts, and other material handling equipment. We offer a competitive salary based on experience, as well as a company vehicle, coveralls, uniforms, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Duties:

  • Assemble, disassemble, and troubleshoot heavy equipment.
  • Perform regular maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
  • Conduct inspections to identify worn or damaged components.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs and service calls.
  • Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients.

Requirements:

  • Valid Ontario driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong command of the English language (verbal and written).
  • High level of responsibility, self-motivation, and professionalism.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
