ConduitHR is a HR firm specializing in recruitment services and human resources consulting support. We are based in the GTA and serve clients across the nation. Our client is seeking a talented and motivated forklift driver to work full time temporary position in their Mississauga location.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate a forklift to move, stack, and organize materials in the warehouse
- Use a warehouse management system to track inventory and locate items
- Perform order picking and ensure accurate fulfillment of customer orders
- Conduct basic math calculations to verify quantities and measurements
- Safely load and unload materials from trucks or containers
- Perform routine maintenance on forklifts and report any mechanical issues
- Utilize a clamp truck or order picker as needed for specific tasks
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

- Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or distribution environment
- Proficient in using a warehouse management system to track inventory
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for order verification
- Capable of lifting heavy objects and working in a physically demanding environment
- Knowledge of mechanical operations and ability to troubleshoot minor issues
- Experience with clamp trucks or order pickers is a plus
- Familiarity with warehouse distribution processes and procedures

**Salary**: $21.00-$23.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Mississauga, ON L4W 1S1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Forklift: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (required)
