Material Handler/forklift Operator

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Operate a counterbalance forklift to unload the goods from the shipping containers.
- Utilize an order picker to accurately select items for shipment.
- Perform heavy lifting and ensure safe handling of materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in warehouse distribution is preferred.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts, including clamp trucks and order pickers.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
- Basic math skills for inventory management and order picking tasks.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job demands.
