Optis Consulting is actively seeking a SystemAnalyst to join their Vancouver,Toronto, Calgary, New York and Salt Lake City team. The System Analyst will work as a part of asmall team headed by an experienced Project Manager and Technical SolutionsManager. Supporting the technical team with the integration of our partners'solutions (SAP Ariba, Coupa, Ivalua and GEP) with their ERP and other internaland 3rd party systems. Assisting in developing technology solutions and mappingOptis customers' business requirements to systems/technical requirements toensure they are in line with the enterprise architectural plan. We need our System Analysts to beconfident, versatile and passionate, with an ability to tackle new problems aswe continue to help our customers to improve. They must be logical thinkers,have a strong ability to collaborate as part of a team and manage ambiguous oruncertain situations. They must haveexceptional communication skills, be adaptable, proactive and willing to takeownership.RESPONSIBILITIES• Assistin leading the delivery of technical client project work for Optis customers asdirected by the project manager and Technical Solutions Manager (developing theclient action plan, coordinating the completion of the action plan, developingthe formal proposal, participating in the presentation of the proposal,influencing key decision -makers).• Assistclients with sample code, and configuration, help clients debug integrationcode, prepare test cases, etc.• Interactwith engineers and developers at Optis' Customers who are integrating theirlegacy systems with SAP Ariba, Coupa and/or Ivalua.• Workwith Optis/Customer project managers to meet project timelines and qualityobligations.• Workwith integration engineers from our partners to successfully deliver thesolution.• Workwell in both individual and team settings both on and off client sites.• Managecustomers where up to 30% of your time may include travel.• Participatein Optis internal projects.• Continueto develop your professional skills, mentor others and seek mentorship.• Assistin identifying and developing new business opportunities, doing lead generationactivities, or working with partners for referrals. REQUIREMENTS• 1 to 3years of experience of overall experience working with integration technologies• Universitydegree or diploma in Computer Science or equivalent.• Interestin learning about web -based applications and the SaaS, PaaS and IaaS Cloudmodels, Infrastructure, Architecture, and Integration concepts as well asapplication of these technologies in the enterprise environment.• Basicunderstanding of web technologies.• Highlyorganized with the ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects.• Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills.• Intermediateknowledge of SQL, writing queries and fundamental relational database concepts. PREFERRED ORADVANTAGEOUS• Basicknowledge of application deployment and system integrations.• Experiencewith SAP Ariba, Coupa, Ivalua and/or GEP Procurement solutions.• Knowledgeof Procurement business processes.• Experiencepresenting technical narrative.
