Duties

Proven experience working as a grill cook or in a professional kitchen

  • Strong knowledge of grilling meats, chicken, seafood, vegetables, etc.

  • Ability to cook items to correct doneness (rare / medium / well-done, etc.)

  • Skilled in marinating, seasoning, and preparing grill items

  • Ability to manage multiple grill orders at once without burning or undercooking

  • Experience operating flat-top grill, charbroiler, fryer, and kitchen equipment

  • Knowledge of food safety, proper temperature handling, and hygiene standards

  • Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistency in taste and presentation

  • Works well under pressure in a busy restaurant environment

  • Reliable, punctual, and responsible

  • Strong attention to cleanliness and workstation organization

  • Physically able to stand long hours and handle hot grill environment

  • Team player with good communication with kitchen staff and servers

Optional but Great to Have

  • Experience with Mediterranean / Middle Eastern / Turkish grill items

  • Knife skills and portioning experience

  • Basic prep and cutting experience

  • Understanding of kitchen timing and coordination with tickets
