Job Summary

Reporting to the Store Manager as a Food Service Attendant/ Line Cook at Mac & Melt. This position is the first point of contact for our guests. You will provide friendly, efficient, and accurate service while maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Your role is essential in delivering the fast, fresh, and flavorful experience Mac and Melt provides

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and answer any questions about the menu or promotions.
  • Accurately take customer orders using the POS system.
  • Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision.
  • Ensure the front counter and dining area are clean and well stocked.
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely order preparation.
  • Package take-out orders neatly and correctly.
  • Follow all food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Assist with opening and closing duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • Kitchen and relevant experience
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including shifts.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Punctuality and reliability in attending shifts and completing tasks.
  • Ability to work well in a team and allocate duties effectively.
  • Professional attitude and appearance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
