Property Administrator

We are currently seeking a Property Administrator to strengthen our team. This role will be responsible for assisting the Property Managers to service and maintain property management accounts and for maintaining the integrity of the property files in accordance with the corporate mission statement and corporate policies and procedures.
Responsibilities Include:
- Administration of phone calls and messages for appropriate properties.
- General administration duties such as filing, ordering supplies, maintenance requests, etc as assigned.
- Maintain a solid understanding of condo/rental/non-profit/commercial administrative procedures including AGM registration, general meetings conduct, and meeting procedures, preparation of AGM package and budget package.
- Handle tenants move-ins and move-outs in Yardi with accurate data entry and workflow updates.
- Coordinate with functional teams to support month-end requirements, update financial documentation, and ensure all tenant and property files are complete.
- Attends educational courses and seminars to remain current on industry changes.
- Has a continuous improvement mindset — brings forward ideas, identifies inefficiencies, and suggests practical changes.
Education:
- Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Property Management, or a related field.
Experience
- 2-4 years office experience or in related role/field
- Training in property management or related discipline is preferred
- Background in a client-centered, third-party management environment.
- Possess or working towards obtaining professional designations as they relate to the property management field is an asset
- Experience guiding day-to-day administrative work and supporting a team's performance.
- Proven ability to work independently while coordinating with functional teams and other departments.
Skills & Competencies:
Proficiency in Yardi and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) is required.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines.
Clear, professional communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
Strong judgment in solving problems and addressing issues as they arise.
Compensation
Annual salary range: $45,000 – $50,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications
