Property Administrator – Residential/Commercial
Full-Time – London, ON
Are you a seasoned Residential Property Administrator ready for your next step — or a Property Manager looking to transition into a more stable, operations-focused role? Larlyn is growing, and we're looking for someone who brings consistency, maturity, and grounded motivation, with the presence to build trust and strong relationships with our residents and clients.
As we continue to stabilize our portfolios, we need someone who enjoys the details, works confidently in Yardi, and takes pride in being a dependable support to the team. This role suits someone with a learner's mindset, a collaborative approach, and a steady, practical way of working — someone who demonstrates quiet leadership through reliable, well-executed administrative support.
Join Larlyn Property Management, a family-owned company with deep roots in the industry. If this role aligns with you, you're exactly who we want on our team.
About the Role
You'll take the lead on the core administrative work that keeps our growing residential operations running smoothly — managing leases, coordinating move-ins and move-outs, handling compliance requirements, and supporting our teams and residents with reliable, professional service.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day administrative operations for assigned residential properties.
Manage all leasing documentation, including new leases, renewals, amendments, and terminations, ensuring compliance with policies and legislation.
Handle tenants move-ins and move-outs in Yardi with accurate data entry and workflow updates.
Coordinate with Client Accounting and Property Managers to support month-end requirements, update financial documentation, and ensure all tenant and property files are complete.
Respond to resident inquiries with timely, professional service across phone, email, and in-person channels.
Complete administrative tasks such as filing, document management, supply ordering, and coordinating maintenance requests.
Support residential and commercial portfolios, with occasional assistance to condo teams for AGM materials, budget packages, and meeting documentation.
Apply working knowledge of property management procedures, policies, and compliance expectations.
Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with industry standards and regulatory changes.
Has a continuous improvement mindset — brings forward ideas, identifies inefficiencies, and suggests practical changes.
Education:
Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Property Management, or a related field.
Experience:
3–5 years of experience in residential property administration, ideally within mixed-use portfolios.
Background in a client-centered, third-party management environment.
Minimum 1 year in a senior, lead, or supervisory administrative role.
Proven ability to work independently while coordinating with Client Accounting, Property Managers, and other departments.
Experience guiding day-to-day administrative work and supporting a team's performance across different working styles.
Skills & Competencies:
Proficiency in Yardi and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) is required.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines.
Clear, professional communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
Strong judgment in solving problems and addressing issues as they arise.
Preferred:
Knowledge of The Residential Tenancies Act, regulatory requirements, and Property Management Best Practices.
Professional designation or certification (e.g., RCM, ARM, CPM) considered an asset.
