Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations at our bustling dining establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of food preparation, food safety, and hospitality standards to ensure a seamless dining experience for all guests. The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for supervising staff, managing restaurant operations, and maintaining high-quality food and service standards.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
  • Supervise and motivate staff, including interviewing and hiring new team members.
  • Manage food preparation, cooking, and food handling processes to meet safety standards.
  • Handle cash transactions, POS systems (including Micros POS), and cash handling procedures accurately.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards in the kitchen and dining areas.
  • Lead team management efforts, including training staff in food service, hospitality, and customer service excellence.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure consistent supply of ingredients and materials.
  • Address customer concerns promptly to uphold high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Implement operational policies that promote efficiency and quality control across all departments.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends to continuously improve restaurant performance.

Experience

  • Proven supervisory or management experience in the food service or hospitality industry.
  • Extensive restaurant experience with a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices.
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms.
  • Prior experience in food handling, serving, and kitchen operations is highly desirable.
  • Leadership skills demonstrated through team management, interviewing, and training staff members.
  • Experience with hotel or barista settings is a plus but not required.
