Our first major soirée — November 8 at the Four Seasons Toronto — is a red-carpet VIP event designed for high-net-worth individuals, media, and influencers. We're creating an atmosphere of exclusivity, elegance, and power — and we need someone who knows how to make the city talk about it.

The Role

We're seeking a Public Relations & Brand Visibility Consultant who understands luxury positioning and can get the right people talking about Zazamint. Your mission is to make the event impossible to ignore.

You'll leverage your media relationships, influencer connections, and cultural awareness to elevate Zazamint into the spotlight, securing coverage, buzz, and prestige that convert into sold-out attendance and future brand growth.

Responsibilities

  • Secure earned media coverage across luxury, lifestyle, and entertainment outlets (digital + print).
  • Leverage relationships with journalists, editors, and influencers in Toronto's luxury scene.
  • Strategically position Zazamint's Nov 8 event as the "must-attend" soirée of the season.
  • Coordinate interviews, features, and story angles that highlight Zazamint's founder, concept, and exclusivity.
  • Identify and invite key opinion leaders, VIP guests, and brand-aligned personalities.
  • Collaborate with our internal event personnel to ensure cohesive brand messaging.
  • Create a sense of prestige and anticipation that directly drives ticket sales and sponsorships.

Ideal Candidate

  • 5+ years in PR, media relations, or communications — ideally with luxury, fashion, entertainment, or hospitality brands.
  • Deep, active media connections in Toronto (Toronto Life, Globe & Mail, BlogTO, Fashion, Bay Street Bull, etc.).
  • Experience working with or around high-net-worth clientele and elite event circles.
  • Exceptional communicator — can turn a brand vision into a movement.
  • Knows how to make exclusivity magnetic through storytelling and positioning.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset — moves fast, gets results, and thrives on visibility and momentum.

Compensation

  • Flexible: retainer + performance bonus or short-term contract (to Nov 8 with potential extension).
  • Compensation tied to results (media coverage, influencer presence, ticket sales, etc.).
  • Competitive for top-tier PR professionals.

Location

Toronto-based; with strong Toronto media network.
