Job Summary

Looking for a reliable and compassionate home care worker to assist a young adult with mobility challenges.

Duties

  • Assistance with mobility needs as required.
  • Assistance with meal preparation, including handling dietary preferences or restrictions.
  • Assistance with housekeeping tasks (such as: washing dishes, sweeping/mopping floors, dusting, laundry, making beds, or cleaning the bathroom).
  • Assistance with managing and administering medications as directed.
  • Assistance with personal hygiene tasks when needed.

Experience

  • Previous experience in home care, assisted living, or nursing home settings is preferred.
  • Familiarity with working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.

Job Requirements

  • Resume, including 3 references (non-relatives)
  • Have or be willing to obtain a criminal record check and vulnerable sector check
  • Must be willing to sign a confidentiality agreement upon being hired

Other Details

  • 28 hours a week (mostly evenings and weekends)
  • Pay is $17.73 (which includes 4% vacation pay)
  • Start date of January 1st, 2026

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: $17.73 per hour

Expected hours: 28 per week
