Provide counselling services to clients referred privately, by employers, by various insurance companies, and other third-party organizations such as PCVRS, MVA, LTD and WCB to address psychosocial problems related to injury, trauma, and mental illness. Required QualificationsRegistered with the Newfoundland and Labrador College of Social Workers as an MSW clinical specialist.Minimum Master's Degree in a counselling-related field such as Counselling, Psychology, or Social Work.Extra Points in your application: Experience in case conceptualization and treatment of a range of mental health symptoms with a variety of adult clients.Have clinical knowledge in the areas of grief/loss, depression, anxiety, trauma, and adjustment issues.Knowledge of psychological management of chronic pain and concussive syndrome an asset.Training and experience with cognitive behavioral therapy approaches, and Trauma Processing modalities (e.g., EMDR, Prolonged Exposure, CPT).Experience working as part of a multi/interdisciplinary team.Experience preparing assessment, progress and discharge reports.Excellent interpersonal skills, solid judgement, and integrity.About Lifemark Health GroupWhen you move better, you feel better.
