Our Winter Groundskeepers love being outdoors in all weathers, ensuring our properties are safe and clear from snow and ice, while maintaining a welcoming appearance for guests.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Remove snow and ice from all walkways and driveways.
• Regularly check outdoor areas to find potential hazards and monitor snow conditions.
• Salt and grit outdoor areas to keep them safe for guests and staff.
• Pick up and remove litter and garbage from outside areas like corridors, courtyards, and sidewalks.
• Ensure outdoor areas and entrances are safe and well-maintained.
• Be prepared for duties to change with the seasons.
• Maintain the safety and upkeep of guest areas in the indoor and outdoor spaces of the properties.
• Work safely by following health and safety rules, and report any injuries or hazards right away.
• Additional duties as assigned to meet guest and business needs.

Skills and Experience:

• This is a seasonal job for the winter months, with the chance to extend for the right person.
• You must have an Alberta Class 5 driver's license or an International equivalent.
• Experience driving in snowy conditions is helpful.
• You need to be physically fit, as this job involves bending, lifting, and continuous snow and ice removal.
• Be a self-starter who can work with little supervision.
• Show energy and a positive, "can-do" attitude.
• Pay attention to detail and take pride in your work area.
• Be flexible to work on weekends and holidays when needed
