Our Groundskeepers keep our properties looking good and love being outdoors. The Groundskeeper position is responsible for maintaining the outdoor spaces of BCP hotels to company standards.
**Duties and responsibilities**:
The responsibilities of this position will adapt and evolve with the changing seasons.
- Pick up and remove litter and garbage from exterior corridors, courtyards, and sidewalks of the hotel.
- Assist with snow removal, including shoveling and maintaining roads and sidewalks.
- Handle garbage removal and cut and bundle firewood.
- Water and maintain flower boxes and planters.
- Perform lawn care tasks, including weeding, pruning, and trimming trees and plants.
- Ensure the safety and upkeep of guest areas, both indoors and outdoors, by removing snow, ice, and other hazards.
- Follow all health and safety policies and procedures, working safely and reporting injuries or hazards immediately.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
