Exception: We will consider a high-performing 4th Year Refrigeration Apprentice who is nearly Red Seal–ready and capable of working independently.

This role is NOT for entry-level candidates or 1st–3rd year apprentices.

The Role

We're hiring an experienced Refrigeration Technician to service and maintain commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems.

This role is for someone who can diagnose problems confidently, communicate clearly with clients, and take ownership of their work without being micromanaged.

What You'll Be Doing

• Service, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues efficiently and accurately
• Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
• Communicate directly with clients and internal team members
• Complete service documentation clearly and accurately
• Follow all safety procedures — no shortcuts

What We're Looking For

Required (one of the following):

• Valid Red Seal Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Mechanic certification with 5+ years of commercial experience

OR

• 4th Year Refrigeration Apprentice with strong commercial experience who can work independently and is nearly Red Seal–ready

You're a good fit if you have:

• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills
• Confidence working independently in the field
• Professional communication skills with clients and coworkers
• Pride in your work and attention to detail

This Role Is Not a Fit If

• You are a 1st–3rd year apprentice
• You are seeking entry-level or helper experience
• You require constant supervision to diagnose issues
• Your background is primarily residential only

• Class 1 Gasfitter Journeyman Certification (preferred)
