Studio Director – Pilates & Yoga (Powerhouse Street, Toronto)

About Us

We're an independent Pilates & Yoga studio, built around the balance of strength and serenity. Our mission is to create a welcoming, high-performing space where movement, community, and wellness come together.

We're looking for a Studio Director — an experienced Pilates instructor and motivated leader — to run day-to-day operations, teach classes, grow membership, and build an exceptional team.

What You'll Do

  • Lead daily studio operations: manage schedules, staff, and the member experience.
  • Teach and inspire: lead Pilates (and/or yoga) classes with exceptional instruction and energy.
  • Recruit and develop talent: scout, train, and mentor part-time instructors who align with our culture.
  • Optimize scheduling: plan classes strategically around peak times to maximize attendance and efficiency.
  • Grow membership: implement creative ideas to drive engagement, retention, and word-of-mouth growth.
  • Drive performance: manage key metrics, profitability, and class utilization in partnership with ownership.
  • Maintain a clean, professional, and welcoming studio environment that reflects our brand values.

What We're Looking For

  • Certified Pilates and/or Yoga Instructor (recognized certification required).
  • 3+ years of teaching experience with proven client engagement and retention.
  • Experience in studio management or team leadership preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset — motivated by results and growth.
  • Confident using scheduling and membership management systems.
