Studio / Production Manager

Location: Downtown Toronto, 4 days/week onsite

Starts: ASAP

Salary: Full-time perm, $100-110K

Our client is looking for a Studio / Production Manager to join their team on a full-time basis. This role is onsite, 4 days/week in their downtown office.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead all creative operations and manage the in-house production studio.
  • Oversee intake, prioritization, and execution of graphic design projects via Asana
  • Direct creative strategy and visual direction for internal and external campaigns
  • Collaborate with MarCom, Corporate Communications, and cross-functional teams to align on briefs, timelines, and deliverables
  • Ensure consistent application of the brands visual identity and brand guidelines across all creative outputs
  • Supervise internal creative team and external vendors (freelancers, agencies, printers, etc.)
  • Manage production of marketing, leasing, and corporate materials (digital and print)
  • Review and approve creative concepts, ensuring quality, brand alignment, and timely delivery
  • Monitor studio workflow, identify resource needs, and optimize processes using KPIs and Asana data
  • Provide weekly status updates to Director and escalate issues proactively
  • Mentor and guide creative staff, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement
  • Direct reports include: Marketing Design Coordinators, Creative Design Coordinator, freelance Copywriter.
  • Own and optimize Asana-based project management process for the in-house production studio.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to streamline communication
  • Oversee end-to-end creative development across print, digital, OOH, and social media
  • Maintain strong internal and external relationships to support creative delivery

Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of progressive experience in retail/graphic design, layout, web, and packaging
  • Degree or diploma in Graphic Design (minimum 3-year program)
  • Proven experience with Asana (requirement)
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, MS Office
  • Experience with digital asset management tools (e.g., Bynder)
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-project environment
  • Strategic thinker with a sharp eye for design and brand consistency
  • Confident presenter and collaborative team player
