Our client is seeking a
Bilingual Human Resources Generalist
to provide comprehensive HR support across the employee lifecycle in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, this role plays a key part in ensuring HR policies, programs, and practices are consistently applied while supporting employees and leaders in both English and French.
The successful candidate will balance hands-on HR administration with employee relations support, recruitment coordination, and policy implementation, while acting as a trusted and accessible HR resource across the organization.

What You'll Be Responsible For:
- Provide day-to-day bilingual HR support (English/French) to employees and leaders across the organization
- Administer and ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and applicable federal and provincial legislation
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, including payroll changes, leaves, terminations, and personnel files
- Support employee relations matters, including inquiries, complaints, investigations, and disciplinary processes, under the direction of the Director of Human Resources
- Coordinate full-cycle recruitment activities, including job postings, resume screening, interview scheduling, reference checks, and preparation of offer and regret letters
- Prepare and translate HR documentation and communications as required in both English and French
- Coordinate onboarding and orientation for new hires, ensuring a positive and compliant onboarding experience
- Support performance management processes, including annual reviews and ongoing employee development initiatives
- Assist with benefits and compensation administration and respond to employee inquiries
- Maintain and update HRIS systems, ensuring accuracy and data integrity
- Identify training needs and assist with coordinating internal and external training programs
- Support HR initiatives, continuous improvement projects, and special assignments as require
The Ideal Candidate:
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience
in a Human Resources Generalist, Coordinator, or similar role - Fluently bilingual in English and French (written and verbal), with the ability to support employees, prepare documentation, and conduct HR conversations in both languages
- Strong knowledge of Canadian employment legislation, employment standards, and human rights requirements
- Proven ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
- Proficiency with Google Suite
Complimentary Experience:
- CHRP designation or actively working toward a professional HR designation
- Experience supporting multi-site or operational environments
