Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Front of House Manager to lead our hospitality team in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth restaurant operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, Charisma, extensive restaurant experience, and a passion for the food industry. This role involves overseeing daily front-of-house activities, supervising staff, managing customer relations, and maintaining high standards of food safety and hospitality. Previous experience in restaurant management, food handling, and team supervision is essential to succeed in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate front-of-house staff to ensure efficient service delivery
  • Oversee food preparation, serving, and customer interactions to maintain high standards of hospitality
  • Manage POS systems such as Square for order processing and cash handling
  • Lead hiring processes including interviewing candidates and onboarding new team members
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
  • Monitor restaurant operations to optimize workflow and guest satisfaction
  • Train staff on food service protocols, customer service excellence, and safety procedures
  • Handle customer complaints professionally and resolve issues promptly
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations
  • Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies as needed

Experience

  • Proven supervisory experience within the food service or hospitality industry 3-5 years Preferred.
  • Extensive restaurant management background with knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS and cash handling procedures
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in team management, interviewing, and staff development
  • Background in food safety standards and food handling regulations
  • Demonstrated ability to manage restaurant operations efficiently while providing excellent customer service
  • Experience working in diverse settings such as hotels or bars is advantageous
