We are seeking a dedicated Communications Assistant to support our team in delivering speech therapy to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of speech-therapy related terminology and experience in acute care or pediatrics settings, contributing to a compassionate and efficient environment. Duties
- Provide 1:1 treatment sessions under SLP guidance
- Follow therapy plans accurately and adjust based on client response
- Maintain accurate records of communications and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
- Support the implementation of communication strategies tailored to pediatric or acute care settings
- Maintain a clean, organized therapy space
- Collaborate within the organization to facilitate effective information exchange and improve client experience
- Assist with administrative tasks related to communications, such as scheduling and documentation
Requirements
- CDA diploma
- Strong clinical judgment and willingness to learn
- Reliable, punctual, organized
- Comfortable with virtual and in-clinic sessions
- Weekend availability and some evenings (required)
Job Types: Permanent, Casual
Pay: From $55.00 per hour
