Earnings: Up to C$900,000 / US$650,000 / £520,000 per year (dependent on volume and schedule)
Our client, a respected and high-volume multidisciplinary clinic in North York, is seeking an experienced Community Psychiatrist to join their dynamic and collaborative team. The clinic provides comprehensive outpatient mental health services supported by internal medicine, family medicine, and allied health professionals in a modern and well-equipped environment.
This is an opportunity to practise psychiatry in a community-based setting where collaboration, autonomy, and patient-centred care are at the forefront. The clinic is known for its integrated care model and strong commitment to quality outcomes and clinical excellence.
Key ResponsibilitiesConduct psychiatric assessments and manage patients with mood, anxiety, and psychotic disorders
Provide ongoing medication management and psychotherapy as appropriate
Collaborate with family physicians, psychologists, and therapists to support continuity of care
Participate in multidisciplinary case reviews and patient education programmes
Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation within EMR systems
Engage in quality improvement, professional development, and teaching opportunities where applicable
MD or equivalent medical degree
Certification in Psychiatry from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) or equivalent (e.g. MRCPsych, ABPN, FRANZCP)
Eligible for independent practice licence with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)
Demonstrated excellence in clinical communication and collaborative care
Strong commitment to community-based psychiatry and long-term patient engagement
Exceptional earning potential – up to C$900,000 / £520,000 annually
