Taxi Driver Owner operator

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Taxi Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to provide exceptional service to passengers. As a Taxi Driver, you will be responsible for transporting clients to their destinations in a timely and efficient manner while ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the journey.
Duties
- Safely operate the taxi vehicle while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting passengers warmly and assisting with luggage as needed.
- Navigate efficiently using GPS technology and local knowledge to find the best routes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the taxi vehicle, ensuring it is in good working condition.
- Handle cash and electronic payments accurately while providing receipts to passengers.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding pick-up and drop-off locations, traffic conditions, and any issues that may arise during trips.
- Report any vehicle maintenance needs or accidents promptly to management.
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial driving or transportation services is preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of automotive repair is beneficial for addressing minor vehicle issues on the road.
- Strong understanding of freight transportation can enhance route planning and efficiency.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential for this position.
