Experienced Line Cook – Phat Boy Cheesesteaks (Edmonton North)

Phat Boy Cheesesteaks is looking for an experienced Line Cook to join our Edmonton North team. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role working directly on our grill line and with our guests.

Responsibilities:

  • Work the flat top griddle to cook cheesesteaks and other menu items to spec
  • Set up, stock, and maintain all line stations throughout the shift
  • Prep ingredients (slicing, portioning, sauces, etc.) following recipes and food safety standards
  • Keep the line clean, organized, and ready for rushes
  • Communicate clearly with other team members and support a smooth kitchen flow
  • Provide friendly, helpful customer service when interacting with guests

Qualifications:

  • Previous line cook experience in a busy restaurant required
  • Strong experience with flat top griddles and fast ticket times
  • Comfortable with prep work, portioning, and stocking stations
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work evenings and weekends
  • Positive attitude and good customer-service skills
