As Brock Solutions continues to grow and respond to the on-going requirements of major clients, we need to add talent to our base of outstanding professionals. We are currently seeking a Contract Manager to join our team of experienced professionals located at our head office in Kitchener, ON.

Responsibilities may include:
- Participates in reviews and approvals of draft contracts during the bid phase.
- Performs contract/subcontract and scope of work document reviews, negotiates and drafts contracts/subcontracts and scope of work documents and interfaces with customer/vendor contracting personnel.
- Works with project management, sales, finance, and procurement teams as well as the legal department to manage and structure contracts and scope of work documents.
- Ensures contract scope is clearly defined and matches the scope that was bid and priced.
- Analyzes contracts and scope of work documents to ensure compliance with company policy, government specifications and other requirements.
- Takes proper action to administer and close out the contract in accordance with applicable procedures at the conclusion of all contracting activity.
- Ensures the timely communication of contract information with management and other stakeholders and maintains complete and accurate contract files.
Qualifications Required:
- A background in engineering, software, or construction projects.
- Experience drafting and reviewing technical scopes of work.
- A quick and efficient learner with strong forensic attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)
- Demonstrate the ability to work with deadlines and under pressure
- An ability to think innovatively and creatively
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Strong sense of character, honesty, and teamwork.
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, engineering, or related field.
- Law degree not required.
Nice to Haves:
- Experience with construction or public sector contracts
- Experience in addressing contractual issues in SaaS, cloud, data security, privacy, and intellectual property matters
