Job Summary

Spirit Healthcare is seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Rehab Sales Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2-3+ years of experience in rehabilitation or medical equipment sales, complemented by education in Kinesiology or professional practice as an OTA/PTA. Candidates with strong connections in the medical referral community and the ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships will thrive in this role.

Job Purpose

As a Rehab Sales Specialist, you will play a key role in driving growth by leveraging your existing client base and expanding Spirit Healthcare's reach to new customers. Using a consultative, relationship-focused approach, you will promote and secure orders for our medical products, ensuring each solution is customized to meet the unique needs of rehabilitation professionals and their patients.

Key Responsibilities:

Relationship & Client Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for your existing rehab clients, ensuring continuity of care and product support.
  • Strengthen referral networks by collaborating with physicians, therapists, and clinics.
  • Maintain long-term partnerships through consistent follow-up, product education, and responsive service.

Sales & Business Development:

  • Expand sales opportunities by introducing Spirit Healthcare's product portfolio to your established customer base.
  • Conduct in-person visits, product demonstrations, and training sessions for rehab professionals and end-users.
  • Identify decision makers within clinics and hospitals to accelerate the sales cycle.
  • Collaborate with management to develop strategic approaches that maximize client satisfaction and sales growth.
  • Monitor order status and coordinate with customer service to ensure timely delivery and fulfillment.
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales targets by balancing new business development with existing growth.

Professional Development:

  • Stay current with industry trends, rehabilitation practices, and product innovations.
  • Attend workshops, conferences, training sessions to enhance product and clinical knowledge.
  • Provide feedback from clients to inform product improvements and new product development.

Qualifications

Education & Licensing:

  • Post-secondary education in Kinesiology, Rehabilitation Sciences, or related field.
  • OTA/PTA certification or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Valid drivers license, clean driving record, and reliable vehicle.
  • Bondable.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Proven ability to manage and grow an existing client base.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a consultative sales style.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational skills, presentation, and time management skills.
  • Self-starter with high energy and entrepreneurial drive.
  • Own vehicle to transport product to clients would be advantageous.
  • Skilled in problem-solving, creative thinking, and customer service excellence.

Abilities:

  • Thrive in a fast-paced, self-directed environment.
  • Build trust and credibility with rehab professionals and referral sources.
  • Achieve and exceed sales quotas through relationship-driven strategies.
  • Work collaboratively within a team while maintaining independence in client management.

Physical Requirements:

  • Abilityto lift and transport medical equipment for demonstrations and client delivery.
  • Comfortable with extended periods of driving and client visits.
  • Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).

Compensation & Benefits: Posted salary is a combination of all compensations items listed below.

  • Compensation package includes base salary and unlimited monthly commissions

Working Conditions:

  • Office hours: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm Monday to Friday
