Manager, ERP Systems

Full time/permanent position

100% remote anywhere in Canada

Job description:

  • Lead and manage a team responsible for ERP and HR systems support, enhancements, and integrations
  • Own end-to-end application service delivery using ITIL practices (Incident, Problem, Change, Release, and Service Level Management)
  • Ensure compliance with SOX, ITGCs, and audit requirements, including access controls, change management, and evidence readiness
  • Oversee system upgrades, patches, and enhancements, ensuring minimal business disruption
  • Manage vendor relationships and third-party service providers, including performance and deliverables
  • Define and maintain standards for system documentation, testing, configuration, and operational procedures
  • Partner with Finance, HR, Security, and Audit teams to align systems with regulatory, operational, and business requirements
  • Support audit activities by providing system documentation, walkthroughs, and remediation plans
  • Contribute to application roadmaps, continuous improvement initiatives, and technology modernization efforts

Desired skills & experience:

  • Proven experience managing or leading enterprise ERP and HR systems in a regulated or SOX-compliant environment
  • Strong knowledge of ERP platforms such as Sage X3, SAP, Oracle Financials, or Microsoft Dynamics
  • Experience with HR and workforce systems such as SuccessFactors, Dayforce, and Concur
  • Working knowledge of SOX controls, IT General Controls (ITGCs), and audit processes
  • Practical experience applying ITIL service management frameworks
  • Demonstrated people leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and governance capabilities

"Nice to have" experience:

  • ITIL Foundation certification or higher
  • Experience managing system integrations and third-party vendors
  • Exposure to security, risk, or compliance functions
  • Experience in publicly traded or highly regulated organizations

Base salary: $130,000 - $140,000
