We are seeking someone to assist our ASD daughter (9 years old) with homeschooling, and support us in caring for our other two daughters (7 and 3). The ideal candidate will have lots of positive energy and a gentle demeanour. A willingness to listen to our daughter's special interests for extended periods is a real asset.

There will be a decent amount of down time when our daughter is in her room. We work from home, so one of us should always be on hand to assist if necessary. Duties would also include supporting us in the care of our other daughters. The both attend school and preschool respectively, but on days off we could use an extra set of hands. Some food preparation will be required, but no cooking.

While not absolutely mandatory, the ability to drive and do pickups for our other daughters would be a real asset. Our residence is located in Saanichton, just outside of Victoria, and accessible by bus (we are near the corner of Mt. Newton and East Saanich).

Pay: $17.85-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
