Sunhouse Babysitting Agency is hiring on behalf of a lovely soon to be family

They are looking for an experienced Postpartum Care specialist - Doula, Nurse, or experienced Newborn/infant Nanny to provide nurturing, hands-on support for both mom and baby during the first few months at home.

The family values calm, supportive care and gentle guidance as they adjust to life with their newborn.

Position Details

Schedule:

  • Daytime support: 2–4 days per week
  • Overnight support: 2–4 nights per week
  • Duration: 2–3 months, with the potential to transition into Part Time Nanny care around 12–14 weeks

Pay:

  • $35/hr for daytime postpartum care
  • $40/hr for overnight care

Responsibilities

  • Provide newborn care: feeding, changing, soothing, and settling baby
  • Offer gentle support for mom's recovery after C-section
  • Guide dad on how to best assist and care for mom and baby
  • Maintain a clean and calm environment for baby (bottle/pump sanitizing, baby laundry, nursery reset)
  • Establish healthy sleep and feeding routines
  • Communicate updates clearly and professionally with the family

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of newborn or postpartum care experience
  • Calm, nurturing, and confident with newborns
  • Understanding of postpartum recovery and C-section care
  • CPR/First Aid certified /Background and Reference Checks
  • Professional, reliable, and respectful of family privacy

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 35 per week
