 We are looking for an Electrical and I&C engineer to work on a long-term contract at the Bruce Power site located in Tiverton, Ontario. A valid security clearance for the Bruce Power or OPG (Ontario Power Generation) nuclear site is required. If you know anyone or you qualify for the role, please email me your resume.

  • Perform design engineering and analysis using established client Engineering Change Control (ECC) processes
  • Coordinate Constructability, Operability, Maintainability and Safety (COMS) review meetings
  • Act as the subject matter expert for engineering to provide practical solutions meeting all required codes and standards.
  • Display sound technical conscience
  • Arrange field walkdowns at all stages of design and construction
  • Minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant work experience.
  • Familiarity with the relevant codes and standards.
  • Experience with field execution of designs is an asset
  • Expertise with rigorous ECC processes and application of QA programs.
  • Experience in solving problems, providing advice and guidance, making recommendations during the design, commissioning and operation of a nuclear facility.
  • OPG and Bruce Power Security Clearance is an asset
  • Accreditation as a Professional Engineer of Ontario (PEO) is essential
  • Excellent written and oral communication, time management, and problem solving skills
