Reporting to Digital Services, Program Delivery, we are seeking a results-driven Organizational Change Management (OCM) Specialist to support the successful delivery of Digital Services projects and technology-driven transformation initiatives. This role will focus on ensuring user adoption, minimizing resistance, and maximizing benefits realization by applying structured change management strategies.

You will collaborate with project teams, business stakeholders, and technical teams to design, develop, and implement change management collateral and plans for medium to large-scale IT initiatives.

This position is located anywhere in Canada where we have a Bird office.

What You Will Be Working On

  • Work with project managers to develop and execute change management strategies and plans that maximize user adoption and minimize resistance.
  • Work closely with project managers to integrate OCM plans with overall project delivery.
  • Conduct impact assessments, stakeholder analyses, and change readiness assessments.
  • Work with the Project Managers to develop and execute training plans including collecting and reporting on KPIs
  • Participate as a member of the Systems and Applications Training function of the PMO
  • Design and deliver communication plans, stakeholder engagement strategies, and feedback loops.
  • Collaborate with learning and development teams to develop and deliver training plans and materials.
  • Track and measure change progress and adoption through key OCM KPIs and metrics.
  • Support and coach leaders, people managers, and project change champions to fulfill their change leadership roles.
  • Develop and support sustainment strategies, reinforcement mechanisms, and continuous improvement practices post-implementation.
  • Identify and manage resistance and proactively address change challenges.
  • Promote and embed organizational change management best practices across IT projects and programs.

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Business, IT, or a related field
  • Minimum 3+ years' of experience in change management roles, preferably on IT or digital transformation projects
  • Prosci or equivalent change management certification (e.g., ACMP, CCMP) strongly preferred
  • Experience developing and managing training plans
  • Experience working in Agile, hybrid, or waterfall project environments
  • Familiarity with IT implementations such as ERP, CRM, cloud migrations, collaboration tools, or enterprise platforms
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proficiency in change tools such as ADKAR, change impact assessments, stakeholder maps, training strategies, and readiness surveys
  • Demonstrated experience in developing solution to measure change success and KPI
  • Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics
  • Problem solving and root-cause identification skills
  • Able to work effectively at all levels of an organization
  • Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others
  • Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges
  • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
  • Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts
