Our team is growing, and we're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Service & Warranty Writer to join our service department.

Position Overview

As a Service & Warranty Writer, you'll play a vital role in supporting our service operations. You'll be the link between customers, technicians, and manufacturers—ensuring accurate work orders, efficient scheduling, and timely warranty claims. Your attention to detail and communication skills will help deliver the excellent customer experience Nick's Service is known for.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers with service requests, repair scheduling, and updates.
  • Open, manage, and close work orders with accurate customer and job information.
  • Communicate with technicians and the service manager to coordinate repairs.
  • Prepare and submit warranty claims to AGCO and follow up on approvals or denials.
  • Maintain accurate service and warranty documentation in compliance with dealer and manufacturer policies.
  • Assist with invoicing, cost estimates, and internal work orders.
  • Provide excellent customer service through clear, professional communication.
  • Support the Service Manager and team with administrative tasks and dealership initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Service Writer, Warranty Administrator, or Service Advisor (agriculture or heavy equipment experience preferred).
  • Familiarity with AGCO, Fendt, or Massey Ferguson equipment is an asset.
  • Strong computer and data entry skills; experience with DMS software preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a busy environment and work effectively with customers and team members.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
