Parker Pet Care is seeking Senior Animal Care Technicians to join our dynamic Animal Care team. We run a busy Animal Services business offering overnight care, daycare, grooming and training for dogs and cats. Parker Pet Care has operated in Toronto since 1945 and has the largest animal capacity in the city.

This position is ideal for a person looking to enhance their previous professional animal experience looking to transition into the animal boarding/training/daycare/grooming field. Candidates in the veterinary industry are strongly encouraged to apply. Because we are offering to provide any necessary client care or animal care training, our ideal candidate requires the following:

  • Strong aptitude to move into a senior/supervisory position in near future
  • A passion and enthusiasm for learning and personal growth
  • A bright, caring and compassionate personality
  • Natural team leader ( leads by example)
  • Strong communication abilities both in personal and professional settings
  • Friendly and likeable - the ability to join an existing team and inspire others
  • Combined 3 years of Animal experience/Professional Animal Care Education
  • Energy and stamina for long, busy days

Parker Pet Care offers significant opportunities for growth, development and mobility within our organization. Many senior staff, Supervisors, Directors and Managers began as entry-level employees.

We are currently looking to fill the following seasonal positions:

2 full-time positions and 3 part-time positions. There is a potential for strong candidates to be offered permanent positions following the seasonal period.

Shifts: We require full availability for weekends, evenings and holidays

Morning: 6:30am to 2:00pm

Afternoon: 1:30pm to 9:00pm
