**Job Overview**

This is an exciting opportunity for knowledge and career growth for anyone interested in surgical/anesthesia adviced veterinary care and an ideal position for someone with experience as an assistant at a general practice who is looking to grow and expand their skills.

**Duties**
- Provide daily care for animals, including feeding and exercise.
- Restraint for proceures and assisting with the induction of patients for anesthesia
- Shaving and preparing the patient for surgery
- Setting up the Operating rooms with appropriate equipment for each procedure while following sterile techniques
- Positioning patients correctly on the surgical tables based on their procedures
- Cleaning and sterilizing the ORs after their procedures.
- Washing and sterilization of surgical instruments/packs wrapping
- Maintain cleanliness in animal enclosures and common areas to ensure a hygienic environment.
- General ACA duties
- Laundry, cleaning and dish washing

**Skills**
- Strong attention to detal.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced envirnoment.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with colleagues, veterinarians, and visitors.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may involve lifting or moving animals and cleaning enclosures.
- Attention to detail to ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols.

This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about animal care and looking to make a positive impact in the lives of animals within our facility.

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
