Marketing Manager
to lead the strategy and execution of marketing initiatives across our master-planned communities and homebuilding projects.
WestCreek Developments is a Calgary-based residential land development and homebuilding company that has been shaping communities since 1997. With 11 completed communities and several new projects underway—including
Legacy, Chaparral Meadows, CornerBrook, CreekView, and Wolf Willow
—WestCreek continues to grow with innovation, quality, and community at the forefront.
As part of a collaborative and entrepreneurial marketing team, you will help define how our brand is seen, experienced, and remembered across multiple channels.
Role Summary
The
Marketing Manager
plays a key role in shaping and executing WestCreek's marketing strategy across creative, digital, and analytical functions.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can balance strategic thinking with tactical execution. You will oversee brand development, campaign planning, performance tracking, social and digital media, content creation, and event marketing. You will collaborate closely with internal teams, agency partners, and creative vendors to ensure all initiatives align with business goals and deliver measurable results.
The ideal candidate brings both creative and analytical expertise, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys seeing projects through from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Lead the planning and implementation of marketing campaigns across multiple brands and communities.
- Develop and execute integrated marketing plans that align with business objectives and drive awareness, engagement, and conversion, including media buying.
- Define KPIs and performance metrics, monitor results, and provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Manage timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure effective and efficient delivery of marketing initiatives.
Creative & Brand Development
- Oversee the creation of marketing materials and campaigns across digital, print, and event channels.
- Ensure consistent brand representation and messaging across all platforms.
- Collaborate with creative partners to develop engaging content, visuals, and storytelling that strengthen WestCreek's brand presence.
Digital Marketing & Analytics
- Manage paid and organic digital marketing campaigns, including search, social, and email marketing.
- Oversee website updates, SEO/SEM strategy, and digital media performance.
- Maintain and improve marketing databases and analytics dashboards, ensuring accurate attribution and actionable insights.
- Analyze campaign data and audience behavior to guide marketing decisions and budget allocation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with sales, development, and construction teams to align marketing activity with project timelines and business goals.
- Coordinate with agency and vendor partners to ensure strategic alignment and consistent execution.
- Support internal communications, media relations, and community engagement initiatives.
Event & Activation Management
- Plan and execute community events, show home launches, and public activations that enhance brand visibility and customer experience.
- Manage event logistics, vendor relationships, and post-event reporting.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business.
- 5–10 years of progressive marketing experience
- Proven success managing integrated campaigns that combine creative content and performance analytics.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, data analytics, and performance optimization.
- Proficiency with marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, Mailchimp, HubSpot, WordPress, and Canva.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated project management experience with the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives and meet deadlines.
- Strong design sensibility and experience collaborating with creative teams.
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle (local travel required).
- Flexibility to attend occasional evening or weekend events.
