About Tool Shed
We're not your typical brewery, and we sure as hell don't want to be. Tool Shed Brewing was built from a garage, a dream, and a belief that authenticity, collaboration, and damn good beer (and gold-medal non-alcoholic beverages) can change an industry. We're now one of Alberta's fastest-growing breweries, serving up award-winning products, big-hearted community events, and disruptive campaigns that make people stop scrolling and start showing up.
The Role
We're on the hunt for a Marketing Manager who's as comfortable strategizing a national campaign as they are rolling up their sleeves to shoot a taproom reel or run a tasting event. You'll be the connective tissue between our in-house creative team (graphic designer + social media lead), our external agencies, and our sales/taproom crews, making sure everything we put into the world feels like Tool Shed: bold, funny, authentic, and unapologetically Canadian.
This is a full-time, in-house role at our Calgary brewery. We collaborate face-to-face, bounce ideas across the brewhouse, taste new releases, and move fast together, so if you're looking for remote work, this isn't the gig.
If you've got 3–5 years of real-world marketing experience, a fire to grow alongside a brand that's scaling fast, and the humility to jump in wherever needed (yes, that sometimes means carrying kegs or taste-testing new releases), then we want to meet you.
What You'll Do
· Develop and execute marketing campaigns for our core lineup and new releases across retail, taproom, and national channels.
· Coordinate seamlessly with our in-house designer and social media lead to keep everything on-brand, on-time, and on-fire.
· Manage relationships with external agencies (PR, media buying, creative, digital) to amplify Tool Shed's voice.
· Support our taproom team with promotions, events, and local activations that drive traffic and community engagement.
· Partner with sales to build B2B and wholesale support tools that help our beers (and Zeros) fly off shelves.
· Track and analyze campaign performance, consumer insights, and brand trends to keep us two steps ahead of the herd.
· Champion and evolve our Tool Shed Brand Book, protect the integrity of our story while finding fresh ways to tell it.
Who You Are
· 3–5 years of marketing experience (CPG, beverage, lifestyle, or hospitality preferred).
· You've led cross-channel campaigns (digital, social, events, retail) and actually enjoy the chaos that comes with it.
· You understand brand, like, really understand it, and can tell when something's "off" before anyone else notices.
· You thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced, roll-up-your-sleeves culture.
· You've got a sense of humour, zero ego, and a deep appreciation for craft culture and storytelling.
· You love seeing real-world results, foot traffic, sell-outs, shares, and smiles.
· You want to be part of the crew, not behind a screen.
