Location: Westmount Dental Group, Guelph Ontario
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Compensation: Competitive, commensurate with experience

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will assist multiple specialists, support patient care, and ensure smooth day-to-day clinical operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist dentists and specialists during procedures, including surgical, restorative, and endodontic treatments
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments and equipment according to infection control standards
- Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays)
- Record and maintain accurate patient information and treatment notes
- Provide excellent patient care and comfort before, during, and after procedures
- Manage dental supplies and inventory
- Collaborate with administrative staff to coordinate appointments and patient flow
- Uphold all clinic policies, safety standards, and confidentiality requirements
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) designation from an accredited program
- Current licensure/registration with [appropriate provincial college or association, e.g., CDSBC if in BC]
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Previous experience working in a specialist dental office (oral surgery, periodontics, prosthodontics, or endodontics) is an asset
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and infection control practices
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient-care skills
- Professional, reliable, and detail-oriented
